Whiskey Business, (1367 N. Milwaukee Ave.) the Wicker Park rooftop bar, is taking its 3,000-square-foot space this October and creating a Halloween theme with a specialty movie night every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. The debut Halloween week will start this Monday, Oct. 5, with Ghostbusters, followed by Hocus Pocus on Tuesday and Beetlejuice on Thursday. There will be two airings each night at 5:30 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. and for $10 the movie-goers will get entry to the desired movie played that evening as well as a personal bag of popcorn and headphones to coincide with all the blood, guts and gore aired on one of its 120-inch screens.
In addition, as being outside is the safest way to socialize right now but mother nature will not cooperate with Chicago, the rooftop bar will provide $10 rentable blankets and the option to purchase one for $25 as well as encourage a B-Y-O-B, “Bring Your Own Blanket.” Whiskey Business’s cabanas will also be acclimating with the weather and going from beach houses to heated haunted cabins. Each haunted cabin will house up to six people and reservations can be made here.
