AIRE, a trendy Chicago rooftop deck, located at 100 W. Monroe on the 24th floor of Hyatt Centric The Loop Chicago, announced today it will feature a pop-up grill from Kuma’s Corner to offer guests a new food experience this year on Saturdays from 4 – 9 p.m. Opening for the 2018 season on Wednesday, May 16, AIRE will continue to serve hand-crafted cocktails, seasonal, shareable plates, and local craft beers, making it the perfect spot for happy hour meals and group get-togethers.
“There’s nothing like summer in Chicago and we are excited to start the season off right with new offerings for our guests,” said Karen McGuigan, Hyatt Centric The Loop Chicago General Manager. “Kuma’s is such a well-known and respected restaurant in Chicago, so we are proud to have them as a partner this summer.”
Starting Saturday, June 2, Kuma’s Corner will offer their Led Zepplin, Darkthrone, WASP, and Pig Destroyer burgers for $10 at AIRE. In addition to the pop-up grill on Saturdays, AIRE will continue to serve small plates such as a Bavarian Pretzel, Chile Chicken Chiquitos, and Grass Fed Beef Sliders, and carefully crafted cocktails, as well as an extensive offering of local beers and wines. AIRE is open Monday through Thursday 3 - 11 p.m. CST, Friday and Saturday 3p.m. – 12 a.m. CST.
With its central location, dramatic 360-degree view and contemporary décor, AIRE’s unmatched urban atmosphere is at the peak of summer downtown destinations. Guests escaping their busy offices for an open-air hiatus or city visitors wanting to relax after a long day of exploring can unwind in luxury with friends over artisan drinks and small bites. Taking into account Chicago’s unpredictable weather, AIRE features open fireplaces for cool nights spent high above the city streets, and umbrellas for shade on sunny summer days. AIRE is also available for private events.
