Soo Ahn, Executive Chef of Adalina has earned a spot on the current season of Top Chef as the 16th cheftestant – making his debut on Wednesday, April 24. Ahn will be introduced in Top Chef after beating five cheftestants in Top Chef: Last Chance Kitchen, a digital series that provides an opportunity for eliminated chefs to re-join the competition. For the first-time ever, the series brought on Ahn as an outside chef to compete against the eliminated cheftestants.
Ahn is a Korean American and was a professional golfer before pivoting to the hospitality industry. He has helmed Adalina since its opening in 2021. He previously served as the executive chef at Band of Bohemia.
“It’s been a dream of mine to compete on Top Chef and push my culinary boundaries against such talented chefs,” said Ahn. “It’s an honor to represent Adalina and showcase my unique approach to cooking – get ready for some bold flavors and innovative dishes!”
