The second annual “A Very Dandy Holiday” will pop up at The Dandy Crown (694 N Milwaukee Ave), from Friday, December 1 to Sunday, December 31, at 3 pm daily. The pop-up is free to attend. 

Cocktails crafted by The Dandy Crown’s outgoing Beverage Director, Sarah Syman, in collaboration with Head Bartender and Manager, Ricky Cordt, will be the focus of this annual holiday pop-up. The cocktails and mocktails will be served in cheerful glassware with seasonally tinged ingredients that evoke wintertime flavors and nostalgia.

A few of the cocktails included are:

  • Choquito (Bacardi Ocho, Fernet Branca Menta, Mr. Black Coffee, Chocolate, Coconut),
  • Sleigh Ride (White Rum, Spiced Orange, Angostura Cocoa, Lime), 
  • Ghost of Christmas Past (Real del Valle Reposado, Bianco, Genepy, Chocolate, Lemon), 
  • All the Jingle Ladies (St. George Citrus Vodka, Ginger Shochu, Sparkling Cranberry Bubbles),
  • No Biz Like Snow Biz (Jim Beam Bourbon, Metaxa 5 Star, Cold Brew Amaro, Pedro Ximenez, Angostura Aromatic),
  • Holiday State of Mind (The Botanist Islay Gin, Rhine Hall La Normande, Carpano Bianco, St. Germain Elderflower, Cardamom), plus Hot Crockpot cocktails

Additionally, several festive and free-of-charge events are planned, including these and more to be announced:

  • Tuesday, December 12: Ugly Sweater Night & The Dandy Crown’s 4th Birthday

  • Sunday, December 31: A Very Dandy New Year’s Eve Party with DJ Gloria
