The 3rd Annual Schaumburg Halloween Carnival will offer two full weekends featuring rides, House of Creeps haunted house, treats, trick-or-treating, costume contests, seasonally themed arts and crafts, a VIP: Very Insane Person bar/lounge, and more. Entrance to the carnival is free for all attendees, and parking is $5. The Schaumburg Halloween carnival is offering two weekends, October 18 - 20 and October 25 - 27, 2024.
Joining forces with The House of Creeps for the second year-in-a-row, the carnival is transforming Wintrust Field, home of the Schaumburg Boomers baseball team, into a haunted house. Each ticket includes access to the VIP: Very Insane Person, Bar and lounge, located on the second floor of Wintrust Stadium in the “Schaumburg Club.” VIP hosts a full-service bar before making their way through The House of Creeps.
Additionally, each day of the carnival, The House of Creeps is hosting a designated *“Kids Hour,” for those under 13-years of age, from 2:00pm-5:00pm for $10 each, so children to experience a less scary version of the haunted house.
Trick-or-Treat will again be hosted by all vendors each day of the carnival. Children will be provided with a special trick-or-treat monster-lantern bag and can collect goodies from each vendor. Additionally, families can dress in costume and stop by the face painting booth and crafts tent to participate in free “make and take” kids crafts, such as DIY Halloween mason jar luminaries, coloring books and more.
Seasonal treats will be offered, including popcorn, cotton candy, caramel apples, corn dogs, hot dogs, polish sausage, nachos, and funnel cakes with a variety of toppings. The carnival will also host an open bar in the lobby of Wintrust Field, serving beer and seltzers for those 21+ years and older.
