Lillie's Q will host their third annual BarbeCure charity event on Wednesday, May 3 at District Brew Yards. A crew of chefs will go to battle again this year to see who has the tastiest chicken wings - and the winner will receive a trophy and, of course, bragging rights. The line-up includes Chicago chefs Stephanie Izard of This Little Goat, Zach Engel of Galit, Brian Jupiter of Frontier, Tim Flores and Genie Kwon of Kasama, Oliver Poilevey from Obelix, and Avgeria Stapaki from Nisos.

In addition to casting their votes in the chicken wing challenge, guests will be offered a chicken tender bar, featuring all of the newly launched tender sauces from Lillie's Q; plenty of beer pours from District Brew Yards; and end the night with some sweet bites: ooey-gooey cookies from Levain Bakery and popsicles from Pretty Cool Ice Cream. There will also be a silent auction, featuring vacations, meals, and gifts for the whole family.

Lillie’s Q Chef and Founder, Charlie McKenna created BarbeCure as a means to raise funds for cancer research and positively impact families and communities affected by cancer. 100% of the funds raised from BarbeCure will be donated to the Katherine McKenna Brother’s Scholarship Fund and the Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Foundation.

BarbeCure will be held at District Brew Yards, at 417 North Ashland Avenue, from 6:30-9:00pm. Tickets are $95 for general admission and $125 for a special VIP that allows early access to the event and a full hour to eat, drink, and chat with the chefs before the rest of the guests come in. Both tickets can be purchased here: www.lilliesq.com/barbecure2023.
