Katherine Anne Confections, a Chicago-based confiserie which features the creations of confectionista Katherine Duncan, is joining 3 Sheeps Brewing for Release Party for “The Wolf,” a special Katherine Anne Confections edition variant of their bourbon barrel aged stout, and panel discussion with Few Brews Beer Club on June 19 at Sleeping Village, 3734 W. Belmont Ave., Chicago, at 7 p.m.
Collaboration Beer
The Katherine Anne and 3 Sheeps Brewing beer is so rare that there is only one keg of the delicious beer and chocolate collaboration in existence. Attendees will get to taste this exclusive gem and pair it with a three-truffle flight, paired with one beer, each drawing out a different flavor component of the beer.
Breaking Down Flavor Over Beer: A panel with Few Brews Beer Club
In addition to the chocolate and beer lovers tasting paradise, the event will feature a panel discussion and live podcast recording, breaking down the complexity of flavor with Grant Pauly (Brewmaster, 3 Sheeps Brewing) and Katherine Duncan (Confectionista, Katherine Anne Confections). Few Brews Beer Club will lead a discussion about how the unique collaboration came to be as well as the unique approach to “flavor” that both creators have.
TICKETS:
Tickets are $15 and include a full pour of the collaboration beer (special Edition “The Wolf” Variant), a flight of collaboration truffles, and access to the panel discussion.
