Grab your Lederhosen and head to Rack House’s 2nd Annual Smoketoberfest on Saturday, October 6 from 1-5 p.m. The restaurant’s parking lot and Beer Garden will “haus” the suburbs’ most festive all-day Oktoberfest celebration this side of Munich.

Stein Hoisting Competition
One of the activities during Oktoberfest is Stein Hoisting and Smoketoberfest attendees are invited to compete. Entrants must hold a liter stein filled with liquid by a straight ninety-degree arm and once their elbow bends, spills or drops the stein the entrant loses. The competition begins at 4 p.m.
The Beer
Revelers can say ‘prost’ with $5 drafts of Sam Adams Octoberfest, Hofbrau, Two Brother’s Atom Smasher and Main Street Brewing Off Duty.
The Food & Pig Roast
Executive Chef Bryant Anderson will put his spin on Oktoberfest grub including Chef Martin’s Old World Kasekrainer and Knackwurst Sausages, Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Mac & Cheese with smoked cheddar, BBQ Kettle Chips and Giant Pretzels. Food items will range from $5-10 each. Guests can also feast their eyes on the Whole Smoked HickoryPig Roast, rubbed down with Rack House’s signature seasonings and slow smoked for over 24-hours.
Live Music
From 2-5 p.m., Smoketoberfest will be rockin’ with a live band perfect for toe tapping, singing or dancing the polka.
Touch a Truck Event
Guests of all ages can see, touch and explore a variety of U.S. Army vehicles on display and have the chance to meet and mingle with the hometown heroes.
Raffle Prizes
Attendees will have the chance to win raffle and door prizes including Rack House’s homemade BBQ sauces, gift cards and more.
Smoketoberfest will be on Saturday, October 6 from 1 to 5 p.m. Rack House will be open for regular dining 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
