The Greater Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce (GRCC) welcomes back the 2nd Annual Munch March on Montrose for an evening of sweets and crunchy treats.
In Ravenswood on Thursday, April 20th from 5:30pm to 8:30pm, small businesses will team up for a dessert and appetizer crawl. Located along Montrose Ave between Seeley and Ashland, the event features a selection of appetizers, desserts, beverages, and candies.
“Our first Munch March last year was a sold-out success,” says Gene Wagendorf, III, associate director of the GRCC. “We were blown away with how eager the community was to participate in this event and we’re very excited to grow in our second year.”
A selection of treats will be available while strolling between local shops, boutiques, and restaurants. Just a few things attendees can expect include taquitos, cookies, cocktails, beer samples, and more. “Munch March spotlights a unique variety of businesses in the community so it’s the perfect kick-off to event season in Chicago,” says Wagendorf, III.

The 2023 Munch March is Thursday, April 20th from 5:30pm – 8:30pm. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 when purchased the day of (if available). Tickets include 12 tasting-sized portions of desserts, appetizers, and beverages, a Ravenswood canvas tote bag, and goodies from partners. Purchasing tickets in advance is available.
Check-in is at First Slice Pie located at 1969 West Montrose from 5:30pm – 7:30pm where guests will receive wristbands, punch cards, and an event map.
