The end of summer festival returns to Chicago’s North side with the 22nd Annual Ravenswood Artwalk on Saturday, September 14th and Sunday, September 15th. The Greater Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce (GRCC) partners with the Ravenswood Industrial Corridor for a weekend that showcases artisans, manufacturers, and brewers. Stretching from Lawrence to Irving Park along Ravenswood Avenue, “RAW” features open studios and galleries, pop-up performances and activations, an Outdoor Arts Market, Children’s Corner, and a pop-up Beer Garden.
“ArtWalk is a special event for our community because it’s a chance to truly allow the versatility of the businesses who call Ravenswood home to shine,” shares Gene Wagendorf, III, associate director of the Greater Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce (GRCC). “This festival is a unique opportunity for neighbors and creatives to connect and I can’t think of a better way to send off summer.”
Explore over 25 participating locations and shop from hundreds of local artists at this two-day annual celebration of the arts. Attendees will have the chance to connect with artisans of all kinds including painters, jewelers, brewers, teachers, dancers, potters, photographers, musicians, and more. At the event’s center, the Outdoor Arts Market will feature over 60 makers and artisans, live music from local talent, beer from Begyle Brewing, food trucks, and a children’s corner. Crafts and family-friendly activities will be spread throughout the festival.
A few options of the ArtWalk include:
Outdoor Arts Market & Beer Garden (Ravenswood & Berteau): features over 60 local artists, food from Sausage Fest Truck, Hilary’s Cookies, Yum Dum Truck, and more, beer from Begyle Brewing, and a non-alcoholic beverage tent benefiting the Friendship Center Food Pantry.
