To celebrate Chicago’s 187th birthday coming up on March 4th, Pendry Chicagowill be serving up a $187 Hot Dog combo. Their special features a light French-style boudin blanc sausage served on a poppy seed bun with black truffle granulated mustard, seared foie gras, and a porcini rye crumble served alongside an Old Fashioned created with Makers Mark Cellar Aged Bourbon, Macallan 12 yr Single Malt Scotch, Luxardo cherries, and topped with gold flakes.
The team will also be serving up a $28 combo featuring their take on a classic Chicago dog, which includes a signature hot dog served on Japanese milk bread with truffle gouda fondu, dill pickled green tomato, truffle mustard aioli and an Old Fashioned using Uncle Nearest Rye, Angostura bitters and Demerara sugar.
The specials will be available at Bar Pendry from Friday, March 1st through Monday, March 4th.
