The first location outside of its native Charleston, South Carolina, Boxcar Betty’s has quickly become a favorite among Chicagoland travelers and neighborhood businesses for their fast-casual breakfast and lunch as well as their unique catering options.
For the early birds (see what we did there?), Boxcar Betty’s has the Southern-inspired breakfast sandwich covered. Start your day off right with their traditional, house made biscuits either by themselves or as the buns on any of the morning sammie options.
The signature, crowd-pleasing Boxcar sandwich does its namesake proud with unorthodox toppings like pimiento cheese, peach slaw paired with more traditional condiments like house pickles and spicy mayo. Pick your protein - fried/grilled chicken or pimiento-stuffed portabella – and you’ve got yourself an unexpected dream team of a sando.
